| QANTAS buildings, Sydney |
| Client: Honeywell Ltd |
| A $1.15M project in high security and commercially sensitive areas. |
|

As part of their due diligence, Honeywell, the mechanical services provider for QANTAS buildings, commissioned Bowsers to audit and repair all fire dampers in the QANTAS buildings in Sydney. This included commercial buildings near Sydney airport; data server centres in the CBD, hangars, the QANTAS domestic terminal and other operational buildings at Sydney airport. All work areas were extremely sensitive with Bowsers' personnel having to undergo formal police security clearances prior to commencing work. All works were successfully completed in accordance with QANTAS’ stringent OHS&E requirements.
Bowsers successfully completed these repairs for Honeywell and continues to provide the ongoing annual certification for these buildings.

| University of New South Wales, Sydney |
| Client: Spotless Property & Facilities Pty Ltd |
| A $1M project requiring minimal interruption to students and academic staff, and great care for sensitive laboratory equipment. |
|

In their role as facility manager for the University of New South Wales campuses, Spotless has commissioned Bowsers to undertake various passive fire audits of the buildings. Bowsers has provided comprehensive audits on the status of fire dampers, fire doors and fire seals to over 80 buildings at the University. In addition, Bowsers has completed many repairs to the passive fire rating defects that were noted. The site presented many challenges and works must be completed in a manner to minimise disruptions to students, academic staff as well the highly sensitive laboratory equipment. Much of the work was completed at night and the University and Spotless have been very satisfied with the outcomes. As a result of our good works here, Bowsers is now regularly called upon by builders working at UNSW to complete passive fire rating works.

| Deutsche Bank Place, Sydney |
| Client: Bovis Lend Lease & Haden |
| A $350,000 new construction project demanding Bowsers' unparalleled quality of workmanship and service, in one of Sydney's most expensive commercial buildings. |
|

Bowsers was closely involved with both the builder and the mechanical services company during the construction of this iconic Sydney site in 2004 – 2005. As a site that commands the highest commercial rentals in the Sydney CBD, the emphasis was on quality of workmanship. Bowsers was able to deliver this to our clients and completed fire sealing to service penetrations, fire spray to ductwork and structural steel throughout the building. However, it was the unusual roof line that created the greatest fire rating challenge for the builders. Bowsers sourced and installed highly specialised, weatherproof, fire rated machinery access hatches in the roof of the premises to ensure compliance with the fire compartmentation requirements.
